Where should I apply Lavender & Castor Oil?
Pulse points and anywhere you carry tension — this is a ritual about releasing, not just applying.
- Wrists and inner arms
- Neck and shoulders
- Temples
- Belly button
- Bottoms of the feet
- Jaw and chest
How much should I use?
A few passes are all you need for most areas. Your skin will naturally absorb what it needs, so it may take a few uses to find your sweet spot. If there's any excess after a few minutes, simply massage it into your neck, chest, or hands, then use a little less next time.
When should I apply it?
☀️ Daytime: Apply whenever you need a moment of calm or to help soothe stressed-looking skin. It also creates a smooth, comfortable base under makeup once fully absorbed.
🌙 Evening: Apply 15–30 minutes before bed to your pulse points, chest, belly, or bottoms of your feet as part of your evening ritual. Many women find their skin looks calmer and more rested by morning.
Can I use it with a Castor Oil Pack?
Yes. Apply Lavender to the belly first, then place the pack on top. The pack traps your body's natural heat and deepens the ritual.
Start with 30 minutes and build up to one hour as part of your self-care ritual. Use three to four times per week with one to two rest days in between. Consistency over intensity, let your body guide the way.
Can I use it with gua sha?
Yes, and it pairs beautifully with gua sha. Apply to clean, slightly damp skin first so the stone glides smoothly. Work in upward strokes along the jaw, cheekbones, and neck to encourage circulation and help move fluid. The oil absorbs as you work, leaving no residue behind.
Why do you recommend applying Castor Oil to damp skin?
It makes a real difference when you're apply to your face! Slightly damp skin helps the oil spread more evenly and absorb more comfortably. You will use less and feel less heaviness applying it this way.
